Lost and Delirious (2001) IMDB rating: 6.80 Plot: When her father re-marries after the death of her mother, Mary Bedford finds herself bundled off to a posh girls boarding school. She’s never been to boarding school before and it’s all quite daunting at first. Soon however she makes friends, including her two roommates, Tori and Paulie, whom she soon realizes are lovers. Which Stephen King book should I read next?
I just finished Under the Dome, and his Dark Tower series back in June. Anyways, I’ve seen almost off the the movie/TV renderings, except Hearts in Atlantis and the Dark Half, and part of Needful things.

But he has so many other books that I want to read soo bad. Which do you recommend to read? Again I’ve only read that book and the series. I also have The Talisman which looks good to. Thanks for any recs! I don’t want it too long (no 1000 pagers), but rather have a page-turner, deep psychological thrillerish, and excellent character development.

I started "Needful Things" last year and now I am getting around to finishing it. I am 3/4 of the way through and I think all of the conflicts and "side plots" have been introduced and I am curious as to who will win.

I have heard negative reports about "From a Buick 8 *" I started reading it, and then tried to listen to it on tape, and never got into it.

I listened to "Cell" on tape, I liked it maybe because it is based in New England. (there was enough blood shed to keep me interested;-))

I listened to "Hearts in Atlantis" on tape, and I liked it. King does some of the reading.

I read "Du ma Key" and liked it. There were a lot of twists and turns.

I know you asked about books by King, but I listened to "On The Road" by Jack Kerouac and liked it. But there was really no plot, (not that I could follow)

I got to Part 3 of Dark Tower, but I gave up half way through.

I started "Black House" I liked the concept, but I have been busy job hunting I did not really "get into it".

I read "The Regulators" There are some interesting ideas in it.

I liked "Dolan’s Cadillac"
My all time favorite is "Rage"
I liked "Sometimes They Come Back" and it got to me, but there are a lot of teachers in my family.

How do I get two friends to stop fighting?
Friend A is like recently with all of the popular kids and friend B just got kicked out of the popular kids group. Now friend B thinks that friend A told the popular kids to kick her out. They are both screaming and also yelling at each other now. Friend A Told friend B directly "I’m ignoring you." and she did. A told me that the reason she does ignore her is because she swears too much. I tried to get A to make up with her over the e-mail and this is what she wrote back to me: B IS A JERK! I WILL NEVER MAKE UP WITH HER ,EVER!!!!!!! NOBODY LIKES HER ANYMORE BESIDES YOU (my name)!!!!!!! OPEN YOUR EYES AND SEE HOW HORRIBLE SHE IS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. So I feel like A just got mad at me and B doesn’t want me to talk to A. I’m not choosing sides because I know that they will get hurt or something. Also, B says that I am the only friend she has and I just skipped school today cuz I’m sick. I think she was miserable all day at school. B sent a lot of friends to spy on A and they did a horrible job spying. A noticed right away and started to yell at them. First of all you need to sit them both down and tell them the truth that what their doing is ridiculous. If they were besties for a long time they would realize it’s something not worth fighting for and should make up immediately. You have a right not to choose sides but friend A should apologize for being mean/rude to friend B and you. Im pretty sure she lost two really great people. I don’t believe in social cliques but if you let your popularity get the best of you and you decide you don’t need your old friends anymore then she needs to open up HER EYES and see that in the situation right now she’s the only horrible person. Never let other people get the best of you and always stick up for your true friends. I hope this helped. I had the same arguement between me and my best friend. But now were besties again,once we realized it was a retarted fight.
